ProAg Field Days 2018 Preparation Underway

Preparation for the return of the NSW Mid North Coast’s premier rural lifestyle ProAg field days are underway with the announcement of this year's dates in early November.

Fairfax Rural Events (FRE) took over management of the well-known ProAg Field Days at Macksville (NSW) last year.

Group Manager of Fairfax Rural Events, Ms Kate Nugent said that over the past decade ProAg had become an institution on the Mid North NSW coast. “Last year saw the return of big crowds, strong exhibitor numbers and resounding sales results” Kate said. “Fairfax Rural Events has injected a wealth of experience and event expertise into this event, and through its already wide and well established relationships, the inquiry into ProAg 2018 is overwhelmingly positive and gaining momentum,” she continued.

Fairfax Rural Events is Australia’s biggest, and among the most highly experienced field day organisers, having run the giant Commonwealth Bank AgQuip field days in Gunnedah since 1995 and CRT FarmFest in Toowoomba since 2005. They are also involved in staging and running field days and exhibition events all over Australia and New Zealand.

Fairfax Rural Events is a Tamworth based division of Fairfax Media, publishers of The Macleay Argus, Mid Coast Observer, The Land, Queensland Country Life and many other rural, regional and metropolitan publications such as the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age. The multimedia giant is Australia’s biggest news organisation.

ProAg is a signature event for Macksville and the agricultural landscape across the Nambucca Valley and throughout the NSW mid north coast and Ms Nugent stated Fairfax Rural Events is excited and committed to working in partnership with the town and region to deliver a successful sales primary industry event.

Ms Nugent said the response from both exhibitors and visitors alike was supportive and encouraging with an exciting cross section of agri and lifestyle products and services keen to return this year.

ProAg will be staged over Friday and Saturday, 2 and 3 November 2018 on its field day site, the Macksville Showground, in Macksville.
